Toddlers can FLIP on their own coats

That is right....2 and 3 year old in OUR class can ALL flip on there OWN coats! (All by themselves.) How? You might ask.

Step 1: We place there coat on the floor with the hood facing there feet.
Step 2: They put there arms into the holes....and
Step 3: FLIP!
They are so capable of so many things on their own if we just take the time to teach them, practice the new skill and reinforce them with positive praise!

Funny Story:Sometimes one of our friends coat sleeves comes down a little bit too long and we were about to start playing with the parachute on the big playground. He walked up to Teacher Morgan and in his sweet voice raised his arm up and said: "I need a hand!" She relayed this story to us and we all had a good chuckle. :)
