Growing up and having a summer birthday was such a sad thing in my life. (Ya rough childhood...I know.) But as a kid it was, I never got to go to school on my birthday, to share treats, get sung to...etc and if and when my mom did try to have a party for me most of my friends were on summer holidays.
I invited all of my students who had summer birthdays to celebrate it before the end of the semester. Here are a few pics of Aspen sharing some delicious princess cupcakes with our class.
