We opened our umbrella's....began our walk on the big playground.....and spotted a worm! We found SO many we thought we better collect em and bring them inside to circle time for a better look! I just happened to have a favorite book: {Diary of a Worm}.
We read that and had some great discussions about worms regarding their shape, lengths, feelings, germs, weather, soil, families...I love spontaneous teaching AND learning!
